Uretiti Nude Beach, New Zealand

Uretiti Beach, New Zealand - Tolerated Nude Beach

Uretiti Beach, 38km south of Whangarei and 5 km north of Waipu, is the most popular of New Zealand's Northland beaches and suitable for families. Nudes tend to favour the southern parts of the beach although this is entirely voluntary as there is no specific law against nudism in New Zealand. There is a Department of Conservation campsite in the Uretiti Recreation Reserve, about 20 minutes walk from the beach (nudity is not allowed within the camp). Nude events, hosted by a local group called Jaybirds, are scheduled for December and again in February's National Naturist Week.
