Cala Nova Nude Beaches, Ibiza

Cala Nova Coves, Ibiza - Unofficial Nudist Beaches

Cala Nova Coves are on the northeast coast of Ibiza near Es Cana. These secluded coves are often used for nude sunbathing. Nearby Camping Cala Nova is a good base, with its own supermarket and accommodation of wooden bungalows, mobile homes, Bengali tents and pitches for normal tents. Unfortunately, when I was there in 2004 noisy hippies camping on the adjacent wasteground were a problem (webmaster). See below for beach reports and photos.

CALA NOVA NUDE BEACH REPORTS:

1. When I visited Cala Nova in July and August 2004 there was nude sunbathing in the smaller coves to the left of the main beach at Cala Nova (as you face the sea). The photo link above shows the largest of these coves which has a good amount of clean sand. It's a bit of a scramble to get down to though. There are smaller coves if you continue in this direction. In the other direction (heading right as you face the sea) there is just one small cove which you can walk to at low tide but you may have to wade back at high tide or climb up the 20ft cliff! - Webmaster
